    This set of eight horror films from the celebrated Hammer studios includes Brides of Dracula, The Curse of the Werewolf, The Phantom of the Opera, Paranoiac, The Kiss of the Vampire, Nightmare, Night Creatures, and The Evil of : Universal Studios.   Instead the book focuses equally on all the different types of projects that Hammer was involved in and therefore covers Hammer Noir as well as the Frankenstein, Dracula and general Horror films.

But I'd venture that the absolute best (of those I've read) would be Wayne Kinsey's two volumes: HAMMER FILMS: THE BRAY STUDIO YEARS and HAMMER.

Think you know everything there is to know about Hammer Films, the fabled "Studio that Dripped Blood?" The lowdown on all the imperishable classics of horror, like The Curse of Frankenstein, Horror of Dracula and The Devil Rides Out. What about the company's less blood-curdling back catalog.
